DocHouse was formed to support and promote documentary in the UK.
It aims to:
- increase participation and develop new audiences for documentaries in
the cinema, on television and emerging media
- create faster and easier access to UK and international documentary
- promote the use of documentary through education at all levels
- nurture and encourage new talent for the future.

DocHouse is based in the UK, with strong international links, for example
in 2005 DocHouse Brussels was established. We run documentary screenings
in cinemas across London and training programmes
in collaboration with major educational establishments.
DocHouse is working to:
- promote public screenings, masterclasses, events, and festivals in collaboration
with existing cinemas
- enable audiences wider access to important historic and contemporary international
documentary through digital media
- facilitate education, research and training
- lobby for the interests of independent documentary with broadcasters,
the industry and government bodies.
DocHouse is a non-profit organisation.
